Wir sind auf einem Roadtrip um Irland, leider hat sich am ersten Tag unsere Hündin am Sprunggelenk verletzt. John und sein Team haben uns am selben Tag einen Termin gegeben zur Untersuchung. Sie haben sich extrem viel Zeit genommen um für unsere Bo die passende Behandlung zu finden. Ich habe selten erlebt das sich ein Tierarzt so viel Mühe und Zeit nimmt einem Hund zu helfen. Vielen lieben Dank an John und sein Team. ❤️

We took our dog, Bruce, in for an x-ray on his foot and he is a very nervous aggressive dog at the vets but they made us feel so at ease and did such an amazing job. We got an appointment on the same day and communication was amazing. Can't thank them enough.

We would like to thank the management and all the staff at Burren Vets in Ennistymon and Miltown malbay for the way they treated us during a few very difficult visits. Our 15 year old dog, Alfie, was inoperable, and we had to say our goodbyes. All staff in both practices were incredibly compassionate, caring, and professional in the way they treated us and Alfie. It's times like these you appreciate having gone to the right place and the right people. Thank you so much, we won't forget your kind and caring approach.

Having used the services of John and his team at Burren Vets for many years, I feel my recent dealings warrant a review. During the palliative care of a much loved animal, their service was exemplary. From Tommy and Shauna on reception, we were informed of visits and reassured when needed. However, the care, compassion and dignity provided by a new member of the team Eduardo, meant so much to us. He showed real care and interest and is a credit to his profession and an asset to the North Clare area. Thank you Eduardo and all at Burren Vets.

I can only give one star and wouldn't even give that if it were possible because we got no help here in an emergency! Our 13 year old tomcat had been suffering from breathing problems for some time. On St. Patrick's Day it got so bad that we had to call the emergency number of the BurrenVets in Ennistymon. Only hours after our first call and after we had to make it clear that our cat was not fit for transport, a vet came to our home and diagnosed "asthma". He gave our cat 3 injections that should clear his airways. He said there was no need to panic. We should bring the cat to the practice for further examinations as soon as he gets better and count his breaths every few hours until then. Unfortunately, it didn't get better, but it got a lot worse the next day. Although the vet himself had diagnosed that our cat was unfit for transport only the evening before, he now asked to bring him into the practice. For our cat, such transports always meant enormous stress. With his current shortness of breath it would have been absolutely necessary to avoid stress and I assumed that the vet would know that. But much valuable time was lost trying to explain this and asking that someone from the BurrenVets come to our home to help as quickly as possible. But although it was an acute emergency, we were not helped. It ended up with my daughter and I having to watch helplessly as our beloved cat suffocated in agony! It may be that our experience was only an exemption, but I find it unforgivable not to treat a reported emergency as such! This terrible experience left us completely traumatized!

We were here a week ago. My dog loves to eat non-edible items and this is the cause of many problems for her. The doctor examined her and gave us a consultation. Ultrasound and x-rays were also performed under sedation for a complete checkup. We were worried about this because the dog had not previously been sedated and we had read negative reviews about this procedure. But everything went great. The dog did well after sedation. Thank you for your work!
