This was probably our favorite place to eat at on our entire trip. It's a small business. the menus are beautiful and simple. It was incredibly clean. Very well organized. The staff were all beautiful. The oysters were amazing. We didn't love the potato cakes so I wouldn't get that again. The sweetest relaxed little place. Loved it! Highly recommend.

This was the best service we've received in Ireland so far!! The young people waiting were so attentive and really wanted ypu to enjoy the experience. The food is fantastic, but I would be happy to come back just for the service!

Beautiful scenery. Good oysters, fish and chips, and bread and butter pudding for dessert. Service was OK - difficult to get water and took about an hour to get our entrees. It's a bit of a hassle to get here if you are staying in Galway and don't have a car.

What a fantastic meal. We called to book a table for 12.30 but were told there wasn’t any availability u til 3 pm however they did say that we could sit outside weather permitting which is what we did do and it was fab. We met the owner who gave us a bit of history around the place. The food was fab. Oysters, prawns, salmon…. Would highly recommend!

This is my seventh day in Ireland on this trip and this is the best (eat out) meal so far! Fresh WILD and natural oysters are so sweet that’s out of this world. But it’s not all about the oysters. Must also have the chowder, brown bread and clams (from the special menu). Bread was soft with crunchy crusts and cut in perfect thinness. Clams were cooked in perfection to conserve its natural sweetness and well balanced with white wine and butter sauce. Seafood chowder contained all the goodness from the sea in a just right not too light or too thick creamy broth that is utterly gorgeous. And of course, all the great good must be accompanied by a pint of Guinness or a local G&T for good measures. For Gin, Gunpowder was my choice of the day. Good atmosphere, great music, booking is recommended even in the so called “quieter period” today. All in all, a good crack! Highly recommended.
