I can't speak highly enough of Acorn Vet. Both my two dogs, and two guinea pigs are patients of theirs and I wouldn't have it any other way. My big lad has been to several vets because of skin issues and a myriad of other problems he creates for himself, and Acorn have always been incredibly thorough, kind and welcoming to us and the dog. Every issue we have faced has been laid out very clearly to us in terms we can understand. No jargan or pushing for expensive treatments. I really feel that our understanding of the problems and our dog's welfare are the absolute top priority of all the staff at Acorn. Our smaller dog, a dachshund mix, has extreme anxiety with new people, due his being a rescue from a particularly dreary situation. He is wary of new people and can be reactive. He was seen to for a consultation and the staff were so gentle and understanding of his needs. They respected his space and he did really well in their care. Acorn is definitely my highest recommendation of a local vet. Their compassion, knowledge and care is second to none.

I can’t recommend Acorn enough! The whole team is exceptional, Dee is so caring and compassionate with our cats who have been in a few times over the years, she made the consultation a really comfortable experience, we’re so lucky to have such a fantastic local vet so close to us!

We have a path beaten to Dee's door with our very old cat. He was in great hands with Dee and her team. He passed away but we always left the surgery with hope and knew that Dee had pulled out all the stops for him. Thanks to the team for all they did for us, we are so lucky to have you in our area.

Acorn Vet Clinic is by far the best experience I've had with treatment of domestic pets. I brought in a stray cat last week as it was literally starving and in bad shape. Acorn Vets were excellent in their professionalism and now the cat is doing quite well once more haven got proper treatment at Acorn. Lovely owner and friendly/helpful staff. I would automatically go here in future. Glad a friend recommended this clinic. 10/10.

Dee is extremely knowledgeable about leopard gekos, her good advice and kind attitude helped me bring Rango our little geko back to life and her help and instructions were very good. Would recommend her in a heartbeat!!!
