Church Meadows Veterinary is an independent clinic established by Denis in 2004, set up primarily for sporting dogs—especially racing greyhounds—with a clear focus on musculo-skeletal (lameness) problems. The website describes on-site blood testing, “most surgery” performed on-site, and acupuncture. In the latest reviews available to us, owners repeatedly describe successful outcomes for greyhound lameness cases, including corn-related limping treated with a flexor tenotomy/tendon procedure, and a fractured metatarsal managed with a diagnosis plus rehab instructions.

Daniel is the most confident and knowledgeable vet I know. He is one of the few who truly lives by the oath he swore to help animals.

We had a great experience with Denis and his team. Our greyhound had a corn that caused her to limp badly. We heard Denis could perform the flexor tenotomy procedure, which has a great success rate. It’s been three weeks since the surgery and Coco is finally able to walk without a limp and is much happier.

First experience with Denis and a great result. Brought a greyhound who Denis diagnosed with fractured metatarsal , told me it was a clean break , give me the rehab instructions and said he should come back if follow them . Also same dog had terrible bother with corns and limping badly on road . Denis was able to remove one of the tendons while here , it was best thing ever done for dogs health , no limping on road now and he’s back as fast as he’s ever went winning recently . Thanks Denis

Denis is an absolutely wonderful vet. Definitely recommend him if your dog has leg or joint issues, one of the best! He practices acupuncture too, which is a fabulous treatment for helping with pain management, etc
