Several reviews describe being seen at short notice (including a Saturday visit where a sick puppy reportedly improved within an hour after treatment).
The review record also includes a serious complaint about the handling of a diabetic dog (the owner reports no blood tests were done, they were advised to go home overnight, and they were told there was no vet on call when they rang later). I will never take my pets to these vets again! You can make your own minds up! Very poor care, receptionists do not seem to have an ounce of care or empathy! My sweet 10 year old girl was diagnosed with diabetes last week, she declined very quickly, violently sick, not eating or drinking, vet saw her, gave her an antibiotic and anti sickness injection, no bloods were done, I could tell something wasn't right! We were told to go home and see how she goes in the night! I rang the vets again in the evening to be told there are no vets on call. Frantically trying to ring around an emergency vet - I managed to find a lovely, kind vet who we took our girl to. Straight away were told "she is a very very sick girl" the 8 units of insulin we were told to give her was by far not enough she should have been on 28-31 units of insulin. Her sugar levels were tested and they were through the roof! She had by now gone into keto where they can have seizures and go into a coma. She was put on an IV drip and stayed in the animal hosp over night. I had the dreaded call this morning, my poor sweet girl had passed away at 8:04am this morning. If she had been given the correct treatment and care and been referred by green vets to an animal hosp I believe she would still be alive now! I'm absolutely disgusted and heartbroken 😢

Great vets, have been twice now with two different chickens. The vets were fantastic and my chickens are both healthy and happy again.

Would get 5 stars except for receptionist today a person who needs to change her job. Not suited to dealing with public . Everything is to much trouble for her, useless service from her. Saving grace nurses and vets and other receptionists fantastic shame this Receptionist let's team down so badly so regularly.

Very helpful vets. They saw us at short notice on a Saturday and were able to resolve the problem straight away. A very sick little puppy was back to her usual happy self within an hour, the relief for us was great too.
