"Bear" who was always such an active and playful little boy is now 16yrs + 8months. He needed medication for his heart and pain in his hip joints. Thanks to Joe Coffey and EVERYONE at the Clinic he is thriving. We carry him on the stairs so he can save his energy for fun. He is enjoying short walks in the park and able to play with his beloved squeaky ball. We cannot tell you how much gratitude we feel for you taking the time to get his prescription just right for him. His appetite is back too. We did not expect him to be walking on his hind legs, jumping up to reach his dinner plate because we aren't giving it to him fast enough - but he is! He has days of course, when he just needs to sleep all day and soak up cuddles and those are wonderful days too. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and most importantly from Bear 🐾Updated 5/10/23 Age 17years +9 months: Our Beautiful Bear became very ill very suddenly. He was seen immediately thanks to Reception Staff * who stayed after their finishing time to admit us and by a *vet who returned to the practice specially to tend to him. She gave him IV meds (antibiotics, anti inflammatory meds, pain relief, saline hydration and anti emetics) He would have been admitted but our wish for him, if he was going to leave us, was that he be in our arms in his own home. We sat vigil through each night and brought him back every day for more IV treatment and EXCEPTIONAL care. Later, once he began drinking himself he was so weak he could not lift his head from his water bowl. Our Bear has not a single ounce of quit in him and has amazed us once again by recovering completely. It has taken several weeks but he has a twinkle in his eyes again and wants to play "catch me if you can". He now takes an anti anxiety tablet to help with his dementia and it has helped him enormously. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMEND Brittas Veterinary Hospital And thank EVERY MEMBER of STAFF for the care and kindness they consistently show Bear. ♡ 🐾 Updated 4/1/24: Bear is coping very well. He is 18years old this month. He had steadfastly refused his medication and stopped eating. It is imperative to us that Bear's remaining time with us is the happiest and most comfortable possible, so we listened when he told us he would rather not eat than take another tablet. Even if one was swallowed it came right back so he was pretty adamant!! Happiness these days, at the age of 18 years, is rollin on Mummy's bed, burrowing in the softest warmest winter throws and cushions, big long sleeps, cuddles and bowls of beefy or chickeny casserole. We are blessed to have it so and to have the support, guidance and care of EVERYONE at Brittas Veterinary 🐾 3/2/24 Just a quick visit for an update on his progress and his monthly jab and Bear is good to go. His eyes are bright. He is eating very well again. He is like a new foal on his legs sometimes as they all go in opposite directions but he is coping well and happy. We are delighted with the care he always gets here. Many thanks again, Bear 🐾 On 5th September our beautiful boy closed his eyes for the last time. Nothing we say can adequately reflect the depth of gratitude we feel to Kevin and Michelle who came immediately they knew Bear needed them. Thank you both sincerely ♡ Paula & James

Britta's veterinary had dealings wirh my lovely dog Dougal A Cavalier King Charles. He was registered with Britta's for 13 tears and Three Month's unfortunately Dougak is gone too Rainbow 🌈 bridge. I looked after Dougal very well gone his yearly vaccination plus groomed Dougal's Saiety Nuts when Dougal developed a Heart Condition needed medication paid fortnightly plus when he was treated in Thurles Hospital for all his health issues had a payment plan as I do not work but cleared the bill as soon as possible. I even had Dougal put asleep in October 2024. Never got no acknowledgement from Britta's just belittled by a new Girl on Reception I0 day's after I lost Dougal no empathy shown towards me just looking for money off the bill owning in Thurles Hospital Dougal's last few day's just wanted to make Dougal Comfortable on his last few days wirh me. My sister's were discusted by my treatment received at Britta's Cashel so much so my Son borrowed the money too clear the bill that I would never have too go back there ever again.💔😪💔😪 😪😪At least in O'connor Vet's they send a beverament Card for your lovely Petwhich every Dog owner would very much appreciate I am strong within myself bit will never forget how I was made feel and I broken hearted it was all about money not loyalty

We had a wonderful experience at Brittas Vet Hospital. Every step of the treatment our cat needed was explained in detail and the surgeon, vet and staff couldn't have been kinder and more considerate to our cat and myself. It was 5 star treatment from start to finish. Many thanks to all.
