MyVet Maynooth

Services

• •Routine veterinary care: vaccinations, booster appointments, annual injections and general health checks are all mentioned by owners.
• •Consultations, testing and ongoing care: reviewers describe clinical tests during appointments, clear discussions in consults, and ongoing support for pets with more complicated health issues over many years. Diet or food changes have also been discussed during visits.
• •Surgery and dental-related facilities: surgery is specifically mentioned by owners, and the clinic’s facilities include a dedicated dental suite, operating theatre, isolation area and large walk-in kennels.
• •Cat-friendly and practical support: the clinic has a cat consult room, and owners also mention a separate corner for cat visitors and covers for carriers to help reduce stress.
• •Help beyond routine appointments: owners mention support with checking the tag of a lost dog, offering appointments for an injured neighbourhood cat, and compassionate care during end-of-life visits.

Pricing

A very limited amount of published pricing suggests the clinic may sit around average, but this is based on very few comparable services. One reviewer reported an unexpected €85 consultation fee during what they had expected to be a booster vaccination visit, so fee clarity appears to be a concern for a small number of clients.

• •Clear communication stands out, especially in appointments involving surgery discussions, long-term health issues and multi-pet households.
• •Several owners mention a calmer experience for pets than expected, and cat owners specifically praise the separate cat area and carrier covers.
• •Negative comments are less common but focus on reception manner in one case and an unexpected consultation charge in another.
