I rang this practice to get an appointment for an elderly cat I was concerned about. The service I received on the phone was shocking. The person who I spoke to had more interest in finishing work rather than the condition of my cat. It all seemed like a big problem for them. I then rang Summer Hill Vets Nenagh and the service and helpful manner of the people there is strikingly different to this practice. It was no problem getting an appointment for my cat on New Year's Eve in Summer Hill Vets. Needless to say I won't be contacting this practice again. Disgraceful. Dear unnamed responder to my review: To correct you: there was no problem getting a previous history for my elderly cat. I was given the appointment when I queried whether or not a vet can turn away an emergency case, which under the Veterinary Practice Act, it's illegal to do so, previous history or not !! The issue was with your staff members attitude to new clients. She needs some training. My cat and I were treated with the utmost professionalism at Summer Hill Vets today without my cat's history which was not an issue in booking an appointment even on New Year's Eve. Professionalism and actual care for animals and clients, new or not, wins out in the end. You lost a potential client and business 🙄

Fantastic vet practice. The team are incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. Even if the news isn't good, they give options and help navigate the grey areas. I felt informed and confident after discussion. They offered as much time as I needed and reassurance that if I had any questions the door is always open. Thank you team for your compassion and care for all our family members!

When we take Bonnie our little Bichon she goes nuts to get in to see everyone and everyone so nice and helpful always a pleasure dealing with all working there and Bonnie's always happy leaving with her treats 😊 ❤

Caroline and the girls are always very helpful in any way they can. Caroline genuinely cares about your pet and has been known to take them home with her if it's Christmas time and they won't be at the surgery!
